Eyelash Curler

If you take just one piece of advice on makeup, let it be this one and the The Makeup Muse will be very happy… curl your lashes! If you already do, great, if not, start! While they look like scary contraptions and can take a few goes to master, all you really need to do is hold the curler, open it (like a pair of scissors) and get right in close to the lash line. Make sure all of the lashes are in place to be curled – if not, try again – and then press down gently to make sure you haven’t accidentally grabbed any skin (whoops!). If not (phew!), press down a little firmer and hold for around 3 to 5 seconds. All that’s left to do is release and gently pull upwards to admire your beautiful fluttering lashes.

Eye drops

Even the windows to the soul need a good cleaning every now and then… Yes, you can make your pretty peepers sparklicious simply by using eye drops. Make them look clearer, the colour more vibrant and the white, whiter any time they need a lift. With your eyes closed, tilt your head backwards and squeeze a drop in the inner corner of your eye. Open your eyes, keeping your head tilted back so the drops run in to soothe your eyes. Blink a few times and you’re all done!
